As a person who is guilty of having the tendency to offer high intensity (but doesn't have necessarily any problem with consistency) : it was an interesting process to analyse where does this tendency come from.

Result?

A mix of momentary happiness, excitement and overall some very intense high feelings. This is the surface. Beneath that stems fear of not losing what looks so perfect.

And then- when the initial perfect becomes "not so perfect" - enthusiasm drops and it's replaced with absence or coveted slight repulsion.

When things are real : I found out that even with the initial love bombing tendencies - in time I just become the best version of myself to show up to the other and it happens in the most effortless way possible.

Oh dear I missed commenting whole novels in your posts 🤭

this is the comment i needed to read.

the self-awareness to sit with it —

not as accusation but as inquiry —

that's the work most people avoid.

"the best version of myself in the most effortless way"

is what real shows up as.

glad you're back.
